Types of Asbestos

amosite asbestos fibers are straight and are usually gray or brown, amosite earning the nickname "brown asbestos." After chrysotile asbestos, brown asbestos before the second most common type of asbestos used in commercial products. Commercial use of this substance decreased significantly since its dangers have been proven in the past decade. Several countries have banned asbestos brown line, and in the U.S., its use is strictly regulated.
